Policy and Procedures

Bannerstone does not disclose any non-public personal information about its customers or clients to non-affiliated third parties except as necessary to service or manage the client’s account, or as permitted by law. Furthermore, Bannerstone restricts access to the personal information of its clients to those employees or third parties who need to know that information in order to provide services to the client. This includes any phone numbers you provide to us. Bannerstone does not share, sell, or otherwise disclose phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent to third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.

You may opt out of our providing your data to certain third parties, but not all, by contacting Bannerstone via phone, text, email or letter. Please call and discuss if you have any questions.

Any employee or third party authorized to have access to non-public personal information is required to keep such information secure. Any conversations concerning non-public personal information are to be conducted by employees in private and care must be taken to prevent unauthorized persons from overhearing and intercepting such conversations. If a client closes their account, Bannerstone will continue to adhere to its privacy policy with respect to the non-public personal information of that client.

SMS Communications:
If you provide a telephone number to Bannerstone, you may receive SMS text messages related to account servicing, support, or required notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of messaging at any time, or HELP for more information. Phone numbers collected by Bannerstone will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

In order to ensure the non-disclosure of client information, all supervised persons must adhere to the following procedures:

  1. When in use, non-public personal client information may not be left unattended under any circumstances.

  2. Any hard copy documents containing non-public personal client information must be kept in lockable filing cabinets or drawers when not in use.

  3. Any hard copy documents containing non-public personal client information that is to be discarded must be shredded promptly or put in a locked bin that is designated for shredding.

  4. All PCs with access to client information must be password protected and have active and current anti-virus, anti-spyware, and firewall protection.

  5. Any servers that are maintained onsite at a shared office location must be kept in a separate locked room that is accessible only to Bannerstone personnel.
